1. Who we are

Yolk Compare ("Yolk", "we", "us") is an online commercial-energy comparison and enrollment service. In the United States it is operated on behalf of United Power Group LLC ("UPG"), 601 South Railroad Street, Lewisville, TX 75057, a broker registered with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (BR200221). By using yolk.compare you agree to these terms.

2. What the service does

Yolk lets a business identify its electric meter (ESID), see the commercial electricity prices that participating retail electric providers ("REPs") make available to UPG on that day, and enroll with a REP by electronic signature. Yolk and UPG are not REPs and do not supply electricity. Any electricity supply agreement is between you and the REP you select and is governed by that REP's terms of service.

3. Prices

Prices shown are taken from the REPs' daily commercial price matrices and are valid only for the effective date shown and the load zone, load factor, usage band, term and start month displayed. They include UPG's broker compensation. Prices are re-checked against the current matrix when you submit an enrollment; if a price is no longer available you will be asked to choose again. Estimated annual costs are illustrative, based on the usage you entered, and exclude regulated delivery charges, taxes and fees that apply to every commercial account in Texas.

4. Your responsibilities

You confirm that you are authorized to act for the business named in an enrollment, that the usage information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have checked any early-termination terms of your current supply agreement. You must not use automated tools to query the service, resell its output, or attempt to derive supplier wholesale pricing from it.

5. Bills you upload

A bill you upload is used to read usage, demand and contract dates. It is stored for up to three days, or for the life of your enrollment if you attach it to one, and is shared only with the REP and UPG as needed to complete your enrollment.

6. Electronic signature

Enrollment is completed through DocuSign. By signing electronically you agree that your electronic signature has the same effect as a handwritten one under the federal E-SIGN Act and the Texas Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We take care that meter data and prices are accurate but we do not guarantee them, and REPs may withdraw pricing at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Yolk nor UPG is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why. Meter searches are not linked to you; enrollments and callback requests are.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms and the service at any time; continued use after a change is acceptance of it. We may suspend access that we reasonably believe is abusive.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Denton County, Texas.
