Who fulfils UK contracts?
TUS Group (The Utility Supplier Ltd), an established UK commercial energy consultancy. Yolk Compare is its online comparison service.
Will you tell me what commission you earn?
Yes, in writing, before you sign. Since 1 October 2024 Ofgem requires suppliers to state any third-party fee in the principal terms of every non-domestic contract; we show the same figure up front rather than leaving you to find it in the paperwork.
What will I need to compare prices?
Your postcode, the MPAN (electricity) or MPRN (gas) from a recent bill, your current contract end date and a rough annual consumption. If you do not know your usage, industry data can usually estimate it from the meter itself.
What protection does a small business have?
Ofgem's Standards of Conduct have applied to every non-domestic customer since 1 July 2024, and since December 2024 small businesses are covered by the Complaints Handling Standards and can take an unresolved complaint to the Energy Ombudsman.
Is Yolk Compare free to use?
