Who is responsible

In the United States yolk.compare is operated on behalf of United Power Group LLC ("UPG"), 601 South Railroad Street, Lewisville, TX 75057. Product support for the Yolk platform is [email protected].

What we collect

• Meter searches — the address, ZIP code or ESID you type. These are not linked to you and are not retained beyond ordinary server logs.
• Usage inputs — annual kWh, peak demand and start month, and a bill if you upload one. Bills are stored for up to three days unless attached to an enrollment.
• Enrollment details — business name, contact name and title, phone, email, tax identification number, service and billing addresses, service-type choices and your electronic signature, together with the IP address and browser used to submit them.
• Callback requests — name, business, email, phone and anything you write to us, with the time and IP address of your consent to be contacted.

Why we use it

To identify your meter, price it, prepare and submit a supply agreement to the retail electric provider you select, obtain your historical usage from your utility under the authorization you sign, and answer your enquiries. We use aggregated, non-identifying statistics to improve the service.

Who we share it with

The retail electric provider you enroll with (ENGIE Resources LLC or NRG Business), the transmission and distribution utility that serves your premises (for usage history), DocuSign (electronic signature), our hosting and email providers, and professional advisers where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Retention

Enrollment records are kept for the term of the supply agreement plus four years, as required to evidence the transaction. Callback requests are kept for two years. You may ask us to delete anything sooner where no legal obligation prevents it.

Your rights

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and other applicable state laws you may ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to obtain a copy of it. Write to [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days and you may appeal our decision by replying to it.
